Kusanya Cafe

On 2nd Saturdays, the mic is open and storytellers from around the neighborhood and across the city take the stage at Kusanya.

A free open-mic storytelling event which is part of the Do Not Submit series.  Signup list at 3pm, stories begin at 3:30.  You have seven minutes to tell your tale.

FAQ Do I need to RSVP?  Nope!  Just show up at 3 to put your name on the sign up list.  Stories begin at 3:30.  What if I haven't told a story on stage before?  PERFECT.  We will welcome and cheer you on with the best of 'em.  Chicago has a happening storytelling scene, and we need more spaces for beginners.  Do Not Submit is one of those places!
